I got to spend this past weekend with Garrett and Kylie, who are counting down to their wedding on October 20, 2027, and their session happened right on the heels of an outrageous thunderstorm. Everything was still wet, the air was thick with humidity, and there was absolutely no controlling the elements. And it was still one of the best evenings I've had behind the camera in a while!


That's the thing about a real connection in front of the lens: it doesn't need perfect weather to show up. Garrett and Kylie leaned into the mess instead of fighting it, and what we got was warm, funny, and completely them, not a stiff, posed version of their story.
