Samford's campus has a way of making everything feel a little more timeless, and Kate's session was no exception.
We spent the afternoon wandering the main quad and down the football walkway, chasing the best light and just talking. About the last four years, about what's next, about how surreal it feels to actually be on the other side of it now. That kind of easy conversation is exactly what makes a session feel less like a photoshoot and more like celebrating with a friend.
Kate just graduated from Samford University, and she is so ready for what's next. Her excitement about starting her career is not something you have to pull out of her, it is right there, in the way she talks about it, in the way she carries herself walking across that campus one more time. She was so easy to be around, and that energy shows up in every frame. Classic and polished, but with this genuine, can't-wait-to-get-started spark that felt completely her.
The quad gave us that timeless, established backdrop, and the football walkway added just the right amount of Samford pride to the whole thing. Sessions like this are the ones I walk away from feeling really grateful for, the setting, the light, and someone who is genuinely thrilled about where she is headed.
Kate, congratulations. Your career is going to be so good. I cannot wait to see everything you build!
