There’s something so special about photographing two people who have grown up together and are now getting ready to start their next chapter as husband and wife!!


Emily and Chris are high school sweethearts, and after so many years together, they’re finally getting married next June! Getting to spend an evening with them at English Village and Railroad Park was such a fun way to celebrate this season of their relationship!


We started the evening strolling through English Village, taking in all the beautiful architecture and looking for the little hidden hearts tucked throughout the area. It was the perfect spot to slow down, explore, and capture those sweet moments in between poses.


The weather was beautiful, and the entire session just felt easy. Emily and Chris were so natural together, which made the evening such a joy. There’s something about couples who have spent so much time together that makes those little interactions feel effortless, and these two were no exception.


We wrapped up at Railroad Park, adding another little piece of Birmingham to their session. Between the gorgeous evening weather, the charming architecture, and the two of them simply enjoying being together, it was one of those sessions that reminds me why I love what I do.


Emily and Chris, I’m so excited for you both and for everything this next year has in store! After all these years together, your wedding next June is going to be such a special milestone.
