There’s something about photographing people who are so completely comfortable with each other that makes my job feel pretty easy.


Marie and Dalton spent their evening laughing, wandering around, and soaking in this season of being engaged, and I basically got to follow along and document it all.


They’re playful, sweet, and the kind of couple who can make each other laugh without even trying. The little in-between moments came so naturally, which is always my favorite kind of session to photograph. Nothing overly posed, nothing forced—just the two of them being completely themselves.


And getting to photograph them at Stone Bridge Farms made it even sweeter because this is where they’ll be getting married next year. So these photos are a little glimpse of them as fiancés before we get to do it all over again on their wedding day.


I already know I’m going to have way too many favorites when that day comes.
